EXT SRC 47 / Interlude

09.10.2025

For this episode I’ve curated a selection of contemporary classical music, a genre I’ve been eager to explore. I’ve had an interest in orchestral music for a long time (blame John Williams) but I’ve been intimidated by how deep the rabbit hole could go.

So I’m starting with what I know: crossovers into jazz and electronic music, movie scores and video game soundtracks. Not the most sophisticated or intellectual, but I enjoy it. I also researched modern composers in general, particularly Black composers.
